Harris earned dual NEC Athlete & Rookie of the Week honors for his victory at the Monmouth Invitational on Saturday. The freshman completed the 8K course in 26:49.7 to defeat a field of 37 runners. Harris, who was also the NEC Rookie of the Week on September 7, finished 20 seconds ahead of the field to help Wagner to a second place finish at the meet.
