Sperry was named the Mason Invitational Tournament MVP after a series of terrific all-around performances for the Bulldogs, who defeated George Mason, Loyola (MD) and Hampton en-route to the tournament championship. Sperry averaged 6.85 assists, 2.62 digs and 1.69 kills per set in the tourney, including a pair of double-doubles with 23 assists and 15 digs in a 3-1 win over GMU, and 29 assists and 10 digs in a straight set victory over Loyola. She added 14 more assists in Bryant's 3-0 triumph over Holy Cross on Tuesday.
