The Ohio product scattered five hits and one walk while surrendering only one earned run. Staked to an early 2-0 lead by his offense, Zeller retired the first six Blackbirds he faced in order. The first-year Knight finished strong, too, setting down nine of the last 10 batters to step in against him. Zeller registered four strikeouts during the 108-pitch effort.
