Sobieski earns her league-leading fifth NEC Pitcher of the Week honor after LIU Brooklyn clinched the NEC regular season title and the top seed in the NEC Tournament. In LIU's sweep of Wagner on Sunday, the righty recorded a five-hit shutout. She fanned seven batters and did not issue a single free pass in the 6-0 win. It marked Sobieski's third complete game shutout of the season as she allowed just five singles to improve to 9-1 against NEC opponents. The New Jersey native has won a league-high 17 games with a 1.25 ERA in NEC play.
