One week after snagging NEC track honors due to her 800m prowess, Thompson returns to the spotlight thanks to her latest 400m hurdles performance. While contesting the Penn Relays Championship Division, the NEC’s leading half-miler cemented herself as the No. 2 seed in the 400m hurdles for the upcoming conference title meet. Thompson crossed the line in 1:01.91, clocking in just shy of her seasonal best (1:01.53). Both times are well under the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships.
