Ramsey solidified his standing as the top seed in the discus for the upcoming NEC Outdoor Championships. The Garden State product produced a career-best performance while contesting New Jersey Tech’s Brick City Classic, flinging the discus 49.10m (161’ 1”) to finish first amongst all collegiate competitors at the meet. Exceeding his previous seasonal best (46.90m) by a significant margin, the mark increased Ramsey’s NEC lead from 40 centimeters to 2.60m. In addition to his discus performance, Ramsey also recorded an IC4A Championship qualifying mark earlier in the week. Going up against a stacked field at Penn Relays, the NEC leader put the shot 17.11m.
