Thompson ran the fastest 800m race in Fairleigh Dickinson’s history while competing at Princeton’s Larry Ellis Invitational. The British-born half-miler clocked in at 2:08.40 to claim victory within her 10-entrant heat. The time, which is more than 3.5 seconds better than automatic qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships, lifted Thompson into first place on the Northeast Conference leader board. She currently occupies the No. 52 spot on the NCAA Division I East Region performance list.
