Sagendorf’s final attempt at the Bucknell Team Challenge was a gem. Down to his last chance, the first-year Mountaineer overtook Penn State’s All-American Robert Cardina to win the javelin competition. Heaving the implement 63.20m (207’ 4”), Sagendorf tacked 2.35m onto his league-leading mark. The performance launched him into the Top 50 on the NCAA Division I East Region leader board while moving him up to 20th place on the list of IC4A Championship qualifiers.
