Boyle extended his Northeast Conference lead while setting Mount St. Mary’s program record in the hammer throw. Competing at the Bucknell Team Challenge, the third-year Mountaineer flung the hammer 55.81m (183’ 1”). The performance added 20 centimeters to the prior seasonal best mark that Boyle produced on March 17. The Garden State product currently sits 30th amongst hammer throwers who have already qualified for the IC4A Championships.
