Putman high jumped his way to the top spot in the Central Connecticut State record book. Competing at home in New Britain, the CCSU senior cleared 2.08m (6’ 9.75”) to finish first and set the program record. The height, which is six centimeters greater than the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships, puts Putman in the No. 1 spot on the NEC leader board. The Nutmeg State product, who finished second at the NEC Indoor Championships, is one of 31 athletes in the NCAA East Region to clear at least 2.08m this outdoor season.
