Hackett provided the offensive spark for the Colonials in a 4-2 week, hitting .529 with two homers, seven RBI and 10 runs scored. In a 3-2 win in the opener of a doubleheader against Kent State last Wednesday, Hackett belted the game-tying homer in the fourth inning and drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly one inning later. In the nightcap, the Glenshaw, PA native hit a walk-off, three-run homer to complete the sweep and cap off a career-high five-RBI afternoon in the 14-11 victory. Hackett also helped the Colonials to a pair of 6-5 wins over Wagner on Saturday by reaching base four times and scoring four runs in the sweep.
