Plutt collects his second straight NEC Rookie of the Week honor after recording a 6-4, 7-6 (3) win at #4 singles over Fairleigh Dickinson’s Diogo Garnel, a two-time All-NEC honoree. The singles victory on Saturday, along with his 6-4 win at #1 doubles with Nick Lamart, helped boost the Bulldogs to a 5-2 win over their key NEC rival. Plutt is 8-5 on the year in singles and 9-4 in doubles play.
