DeVries ended SFU's 3-0 weekend at the Cherry Blossom Classic on a high note. In the Red Flash’s 13-0 victory over Cornell on Saturday, the junior tossed a five-inning no-hitter. The Forreston, IL, product allowed just one baserunner on a one-out walk in the first inning, before retiring the next 14 batters. This marks SFU's second no-hitter this season, the first coming against UNC Wilmington in February when Ethel Santai and DeVries combined for the win. DeVries also recorded the first individual no-hitter for the Red Flash since 2008.
