Aslanian tallied a team-high eight goals, including a pair of overtime game winners against Canisius and Wagner last week. On Tuesday, the Westfield, NJ product scored five of Hobart’s eight goals in the Statesmen’s 8-7 double overtime victory over the Golden Griffins. Trailing 6-3 in the fourth quarter, Aslanian scored three times with one of those goals coming with 28 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime. He would go on to score 1:09 into the second overtime session to secure the win. Aslanian became the first Statesman to score five goals in a game since March 1, 2014. The freshman then added a hat trick in a 10-9 triumph over Wagner on Saturday, including the game-winner 1:08 into the third overtime session to end the longest game in Hobart lacrosse history.
