Sundahl was solid in middle relief during Sacred Heart’s trip to No. 16 Louisiana Lafayette. The rookie right made two appearances out of the bullpen, twirling 4.2 innings to the tune of an 0.00 ERA. Pitching a scoreless sixth inning in the series opener, Sundahl struck out a pair of Ragin’ Cajuns to leave the bases loaded. He came on to start the fifth inning of Sunday’s series finale and proceeded to record three straight scoreless frames before running into a minor pickle during the eighth. He fanned the leadoff man, but the Cajuns eventually pushed across a pair of unearned runs.
