Rinn continued his season-opening tear during Bryant’s series victory over Atlantic-10 member George Mason. The left-handed swinging first baseman batted .462 (6-for-13) during the three-game road series and recorded at least one RBI in each of the three contests. Slugging .933 for the weekend, Rinn connected on a home run and a trio of two-baggers while totaling six RBI. He pounded out three extra-base hits in Bryant’s 12-2 series-opening victory. His two-run double to centerfield capped Bryant’s four-run second inning. Rinn extended the Bulldogs’ lead to 7-0 by cranking a two-run homer in the fourth. He opened the scoring in the middle game of the series, an eventual 3-2 setback, by launching a first-inning sac fly. The Rhode Islander added two hits and another sac fly in Bryant’s triumphant series finale. Rinn has recorded a hit in nine of 10 games this year and still managed to drive in a run during his lone hitless outing.
