DeRienzo claims her second NEC Player of the Month award of the 2015-16 season following a terrific start to her spring campaign, highlighted by a 4-1 record in both singles and doubles. Competing at the #1 flight, she picked her biggest singles win over Binghamton’s Sara Kohtz (6-0, 6-3), a three-time All-America East selection. DeReienzo, who also collected victories over players from Army, Colgate and Hartford, is now 6-1 in singles for the year. With a perfect 3-0 mark at #1 doubles on the month, she lifted her season record to 4-0 at the top flight and 5-1 overall in doubles play.
