Norton busted out of a mini-slump and found her stroke during Saint Francis’ final three games at the Diamond Devil Invitational. Following an 0-fer during the Flash’s opening game against Minnesota, the freshman outfielder recorded at least one hit, one run and one RBI in each of the next three contests. She homered twice on Sunday, once against each opponent. Norton cut into Arizona State’s lead by blasting a four-inning solo shot in an eventual 11-3 setback. Later in the day, she opened the scoring against Mount St. Mary’s by launching a two-run, first-inning blast down the left-field line. Norton, who walked twice, scored three times in the 10-1 triumph. For the week, she batted .300 (3-for-10) with two homeruns, four RBI and five runs scored.
