Lukosius played a large part in Fairleigh Dickinson’s second-place finish at the talent-loaded Stephen F. Austin Stormin’ Ladyjacks’ Classic. Throwing a highly effective strike ball, the second-year Knight averaged 20.9 pins per frame to help FDU to a 10-4 record for the weekend. Lukosius struck on 57.7 percent of her attempts while filling frames at an 84 percent clip. The Garden State product accounted for a 222.7 traditional game average, which was good enough for second place overall on the tournament’s individual leader board. Lukosius kicked off the traditional team play portion of the meet by throwing a 220 game in the Knights’ dramatic 1026-1022 triumph over National No. 1 Arkansas State. She followed by turning in a 244-pin performance during a 1108-1073 over No. 10 North Carolina A&T. The right-handed sophomore eclipsed the 210-pin mark in five of six traditional matches. She started every one of FDU’s 15 matches over the course of the three-day event and threw a season-high 94 strikes.
