Only days before his NEC Indoor Championship debut, Bunion moved up to the No. 2 spot on the league leader board in the 400m dash. The first-year Blackbird shaved his seasonal best down to 47.86s. The time was good enough for eighth place in a 190-entrant field at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. Bunion ranks 14th overall on the regional performance list of IC4A Championship qualifiers. When factoring in his 500m prowess, Bunion owns top-3 NEC performances in two sprints.
