Putman appears to be hitting his stride in the high jump right in time for the NEC Indoor Championships, which are set for February 19-20 in Staten Island, NY. Competing at the Boston University Valentine Invitational, Putnam cleared 2.00m (6’ 6.75”) to pull even with CCSU teammate Amaziah Gadson atop the NEC performance list. The height, which he cleared on his second attempt of the competition, earned him a silver medal at BU.
