Moodie returned from Boston U’s John Thomas Terrier Invitational with a league-leading time and a LIU Brooklyn program record. Shaving nearly 0.2 second off his previous seasonal best, the Jamaican-born Blackbird completed the 60-meter hurdles in 8.02. The time, which ranks Moodie eighth overall on the IC4A regional performance list, catapulted the LIU rookie atop the NEC leader board where he stands 0.11 second better than second-ranked Julian Woods (Mount St. Mary’s). Producing the 56th-fatest time amongst Division I hurdlers this season, Moodie clipped Brian Richards’ old LIU record of 8.08.
