Sarin’s play was sensational during Fairleigh Dickinson’s two days of competition at the abbreviated Kutztown University Invitational. The Garden State product struck 86 times in 148 chances (.581) and picked up 87 percent of her non-split spare opportunities. Sarin spearheaded Fairleigh Dickinson’s 4-1 showing during Sunday’s traditional team competition. The fourth-year Knight accounted for a 214.8 game average that included a 254 high game against No. 15 Valparaiso. Sarin shot a 205 game in a victory over No. 8 Stephen F. Austion and also exceeded the 200-pin mark in a win over No. 23 Adelphi. She was equally effective during Friday’s quint-baker matches. Helping the Knights to a trio of wins on the tournament’s first day, Sarin averaged a whopping 22.28 pins per baker frame.
