Sprinting the 200m distance for the first time this season, Baugh instantly became the Northeast Conference’s leader in the event. Competing against 48 others at the NYC Gotham Cup, Baugh clocked in at 24.83s to take fifth overall (third amongst collegians) in the challenging field. The time was well under the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships and it stands exactly 0.44 second better than the effort that earned Baugh the silver medal at the 2015 NEC Indoor Championships. Baugh’s Gotham Cup performance moved the Jamaican-born athlete into the No. 19 spot on the ECAC regional leader board.
