Alston added a bronze medal to his resume while contesting the 60-meter hurdles at the Joe Donahue Games in Roxbury, MA. The first-year Blue Devil completed the final in 8.24s, finishing behind only South Florida’s Bruce Barclay and Northeastern’s Shawn Bleichert. It was the second time this month that Alston, who has owned the NEC lead since his performance at Yale on January 9, clocked in under the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships. Alston’s latest effort, which was 0.05 second off his seasonal best, is good enough to land him amongst the top-35 leaders on the IC4A performance list.
