Ramsey bounced back from his uncharacteristic showing at the Great Dane Classic by winning the NYC Gotham Cup. Competing at the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, NY, the veteran thrower put the shot a season-long 17.93m (58’ 10”) to top a field of 37 entrants. The NEC shot put leader’s best performance yet moved the Garden State product up to third overall on the IC4A regional rankings list. Ramsey, who has led the NEC since the Fordham Season Opener on Dec. 4, sits in the No. 35 spot on the NCAA Division I national leader board.
