The third-place pole vaulter at the 2015 NEC Indoor Championships has catapulted himself to the top spot on the league leader board. Contesting a collegiate competition for the first time since last spring, Borecki cleared 4.65m (15’ 3”) to take the NEC lead by a 15-centimeter margin. His performance was good enough for fourth place overall at the Great Dane Classic, which was hosted at the site of the 2016 NEC Indoor Championships (Ocean Breeze - Staten Island, NY), and it also automatically qualified Borecki for the NEICAAA Championships later this winter.
