Hines set a personal record and earned a gold medal while contesting her first meet of the New Year. Winning the weight throw competition with 1.0 meter to spare, Hines tossed the 20-pound implement 16.94m (55’ 7”) to out-class the field of 26 entrants. The first-place mark ranks amongst the Top 100 in Division I this season and bumps Hines up to the 11th spot on the ECAC regional leader board. Closing in on current NEC leader Jordan Collins (Saint Francis U), Hines sits second on the conference performance list thanks to her latest fling.
