Lawrence continued the NEC’s recent string of notable 500m performances. Claiming the weekly honor that was previously held by rivals Genamarie McCant (MSM) and Cassandra Jones (LIU), Lawrence set a personal best at the Yale Collegiate Invitational. The Massachusetts product completed the 500m dash in 1:15.72 to finish fourth out of a talent-loaded 20-entrant field. The time, which ranks third overall on the NEC leader board and 29th regionally, made Lawrence an automatic qualifier for the ECAC Championships for the first time in her career.
