Williams’ first weekly award (Dec. 15) came as a result of his 60m prowess. Now, the first-year Blackbird owns a second weekly honor thanks to his performance in the 200m dash. Williams flew across the line in 22.11s to finish first amongst all Division I collegiate competitors at the Villanova Open. The time made Williams an automatic qualifier for the IC4A Championship in a second event and moved the Garden State product up to second overall on the NEC’s 200m leader board (LIU teammate Karl Cajuste is 0.01 second better).
