One of the NEC’s most outstanding rookie performers last year, Latham began his sophomore season with a bang. Obliterating the program record he set last season, the second-year Blue Devil tallied 5,046 points to claim second place in the Heptathlon at SCSU’s Elm City Challenge. Latham, who set five personal records during the weekend, posted NEC-leading marks in the high jump (1.97m) and long jump (6.76m). His pole vault performance (3.30m) is ninth on the league’s performance list. Latham’s Heptathlon point total is the fifth-highest on the early-season IC4A regional leader board.
