Meyer lifted the lid off of his sophomore season by logging two sprint victories at the Bucknell Bison Opener. After completing the preliminary round in 7.00s, the Keystone State product won the 60m dash final in 6.96. That time, which is 0.02 under the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships, made Meyer the NEC event leader and ranks the rookie 11th overall on the IC4A performance list. Meyer easily bested the 300m dash field at Bucknell, clocking in 0.99 second sooner than the runner-up. He also ran the third leg on SFU’s third-place 4x400m relay team.
