WEEK 12 STATS: 58-yard punt return, 9-yard fumble return
Robinson’s fourth-quarter contributions to Robert Morris’ punt return team made an enormous impact during a 21-20 victory. With the Colonials clinging to a 14-7 lead and set to field a Bryant punt, Robinson’s heads-up play allowed RMU to secure possession. The punt was inadvertently touched by a Colonial, but Robinson alertly scooped up the live ball and returned it nine yards to give Robert Morris a 1st-and-10 at the RMU 43. Later in the final quarter, Robinson ripped off a 58-yard punt return down to Bryant’s 10-yard line, putting the Colonials in prime position to score their third touchdown. With yesterday’s effort, Robinson broke the RMU single-season record for punt return average (18.2) and currently ranks second in all of FCS in that category.
