Competing against St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday, Vega secured an individual win and contributed to two relay team victories as the Blackbirds remained undefeated in NEC dual meets. The freshman won the 50 free for the second time this season, posting a personal best time of 24.55, which ranks her sixth in the NEC this fall. Vega was also part of the winning 200 medley (1:51.56) and 200 freestyle (1:41.15) relay teams. The freestyle relay team's time established a new pool record.
