WEEK 9 STATS: Punt Block for TD, 3 total tackles
Lomax’s special teams’ effort broke a scoreless stalemate in the #NECFB on ESPN3 Game of the Week at Arute Field. With Robert Morris in punt formation at its own 25-yard line early in the second half, CCSU’s 5-foot-11 linebacker barreled through the protection and stuffed the kick attempt. The block sent the ball towards the goal line where Keir Minor scooped it up for the first six points of the game. The play catapulted the Blue Devils to a 34-point second half and allowed them to remain in a tie for first place in the NEC standings. Lomax was also active in kick coverage.  Following his punt block for a touchdown, Lomax stopped RMU rookie Dante Satcher on a 22-yard return on the ensuing kickoff.
