Foo-Kune posted a 3-2 singles record in October and participated in both singles and doubles at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional. Foo-Kune’s three #1 flight singles wins came at the Rocket Invite, hosted by Toledo. In the tournament’s hidden-dual format, he defeated Wright State’s Jose Pestana (6-2, 6-0), Mercyhurst’s Nenad Terzic (6-4, 1-6, 10-5) and Toledo’s Vince Anzalone (6-3, 6-3). He also competed in the doubles main draw at the Northeast Regional, pairing up with Rodrigo Tico. The duo won their first round match, 8-7, over St. Bonaventure’s Victor Blanco and Eduaro Irizarry. In the second round, Foo-Kune and Tico came up just short in an 8-6 loss to Harvard’s Nicholas Hu and Brian Yeung, currently ranked 37th in the ITA Poll.
