Krufka put up staggering numbers during Sacred Heart’s three-match week. Hitting .407 over the span, the rightside attacker averaged 4.6 kills per game. The native Californian accounted for at least a .500 hitting percentage in two of the Pioneers’ three matches, including her record performance in the team’s lone NEC match of the week. Powering SHU to a thrilling five-set road victory over Fairleigh Dickinson, Krufka tied a single-match program record by registering 33 kills. In addition to matching a 17-year-old school standard, Krufka’s kill total stands as the fifth highest in the NCAA this season. Her .509 hitting percentage against the Knights is her third-highest output of the season. She produced team highs in kills during non-conference bouts with Stony Brook (15) and Fairfield (12). While helping her team to its first-place standing, Krufka continues to lead the league in hitting percentage (.337) and total kills (335).
