In claiming her second straight NEC Defensive Player of the Week award, Bourne recorded 14 saves and helped the Mount to a 1-0-1 weekend. In a 0-0 draw against Bryant on Friday, Bourne made a pair of key stops - including a sprawling save on a breakaway with three minutes to play - in the closing minutes of regulation to keep the game scoreless. The senior then added six more saves in a 2-1 victory over Sacred Heart on Sunday. Bourne had posted three straight shutouts and not allowed a goal in 413 minutes until the Pioneers broke through in the 51st minute. The Baltimore product currently leads the NEC in save percentage (.923) in conference play and ranks second in goals against average (0.55).
