WEEK 5 STATS: 11 total tackles, 1.0 TFL
Stojkovic spearheaded Robert Morris’ suffocating defensive effort in a road win over NEC rival Wagner. The electric linebacker accounted for a game-high 11 tackles, including a number of impactful hits as the Colonials limited the hosts to a 2.9 yards per play average. Nine of his takedowns were of the solo variety and all 11 stopped Wagner short of a first down. Stojkovic saved his best stop for crunch time. With Wagner looking to break a 6-6 fourth-quarter deadlock, the defensive captain blew up a first-down play and hit the ball carrier for a 10-yard loss to force a quick three-and-out. RMU kicked the game-winning field goal on the ensuing possession. The versatile Stojkovic also made two stops in pass coverage, limiting the receiver to a 4-yard gain each time. Recording at least 10 tackles for the fourth time in five games, Stojkovic helped hold Wagner to its season low in terms of total offense. The Stojkovic-led unit limited the Seahawks to a total of 170 yards, more than 100 fewer than their previous season low that came against a FBS member Rice.
