NEC Golfer of the Month
To start the fall season Buschmann has helped lead the Bulldogs to a trio of top five finishes at the Ryan Lee Memorial Tournament, the Hartford Hawk Invitational and the ECAC Championships. In a field of 108 golfers at the Hartford Invitational, Buschmann claimed the individual title after finishing 10-under par 206 (70-68-68) over three rounds as Bryant finished fourth overall. The senior finished in a tie for ninth after shooting an even-par 144 (72-72) at the Ryan Lee Memorial event as the Bulldogs took second in the 12-team field. Buschmann went on to post a fifth place finish at the ECAC Championships, shooting a four-over 146 (70-76), as the Bulldogs earned runner-up status, just one stroke off the pace. He has compiled a stroke average of 70.9 per round thus far in the fall season.
