Ferguson claimed his second consecutive individual title this past Saturday competing at the Nassaney Invitational hosted by Bryant. A week ago, the senior ran the fastest 6K in program history and this past weekend he broke the Pioneer 5K record after crossing the finish line at 14:50, one second ahead of the runner-up. Ferguson, who has now claimed back-to-back NEC Athlete of the Week honors, also helped lead the Pioneers to a fifth place finish, the best among the six NEC teams in the field.
