McCray produced his ninth career 100-yard rushing performance during Bryant’s heavyweight bout at National No. 1 Coastal Carolina. Averaging 7.1 yards per carry, the senior tailback rushed 15 times for 107 yards and one touchdown in what was the second leg of Bryant’s current four-game road swing. Showing his versatility, he made five catches out of the backfield for 34 yards. McCray was a factor from the start, breaking off a 36-yard run to set up a field goal on the game’s opening drive. The 5-foot-9 senior was the catalyst on the Bulldogs’ final possession of the first half, carrying three times for 41 yards and finding pay dirt on 5-yard burst 31 seconds before the break. His touchdown (and ensuing PAT) tied the game at 17-17.
