After recording a hat trick and helping the Knights finish 2-0 last week, Hoesktra claimed her second NEC Player of the Week award this season. In FDU's 4-1 victory over Columbia on Sunday, the junior found the back of the net in the 12th and 46th minute to give the Knights a 2-1 lead and eventually netted her second career hat trick in the 57th minute. Hoekstra currently ranks second in the NEC with six goals and 13 points on the year. She has racked up 27 career goals over her two-plus seasons at FDU.
