Mastrangelo scored the game-winner in the Red Flash’s 2-0 win over George Washington on Wednesday. The freshman sent a beautiful striking volley - off a pass from teammate Pablo Medina - into the lower left corner of the net in the ninth minute of the contest. The Venetia, PA native also had three shots on goal in SFU’s 0-0 tie against Lehigh on Sunday. Mastrangelo had a chance to win the game in overtime from the right side, but was well challenged by the goalkeeper. Mastrangelo leads the Red Flash with two goals and five points on the year.
