Geesey kicked his way to sole possession of a Saint Francis program record during the season-opening triumph over Patriot League member Georgetown. Entering the season tied for the all-time career mark in field goals made, Geesey connected on a pair of three-pointers during the second quarter of the Red Flash’s eventual 48-20 victory. Going a perfect 6-for-6 on extra point attempts, Geesey contributed a total of 12 points to the winning effort. He scored the last six points of the first half, sending SFU into the locker room with a 27-6 advantage. His 24-yarder with 3:18 left in the second quarter capped a 12-play, 67-yard drive and was the record-setting 30th make of his career. He added a 44-yarder as the second quarter expired.
