Long was dominant in Wagner’s NEC series opener against Central Connecticut, a 12-0 triumph for the Seahawks. The 6-foot-10 right-hander fanned 13 batters over 6.0 scoreless innings. He allowed only three hits, all singles, and one base on balls en-route to his second consecutive victory. Long retired 11 of the first 12 batters he faced with a two-out walk in the second inning being the lone blemish. He kept CCSU hitless until a groundball single snuck through the left side with two outs in the fourth frame. After completing 6.0 frames, Long exited with Wagner in complete control. The righty, who threw 101 pitches, handed an 11-0 lead over to the bullpen.
