Fitzgerald pole-vaulted her way into third place on the Northeast Conference leader board. Contesting the Bucknell Team Challenge, the first-year Mountaineer cleared 3.57m (11’ 8.5”) to set a seasonal best and secure a gold medal in the process. Only NEC co-leaders Bethany Ledford (Robert Morris) and Elissa Ingram (Mount St. Mary’s) have vaulted higher than Fitzgerald this season.
