Karinchak won his second straight NEC start in impressive fashion. The rookie righty went the distance in a 6-1 victory over Mount St. Mary’s. Earning the starting nod for Game 3 of the four-game set, Karinchak scattered six hits over 7.0 innings of one-run ball. He struck out six batters and walked no one during the 92-pitch outing. A solo home run in the fourth inning accounted for the lone earned run surrendered by Karinchak.
