Albanese made program history during Bryant’s lone game last week. Powering the Bulldogs to a 16-4 thumping of CAA member Towson late Sunday night, the sophomore outfielder recorded the first cycle in the program’s Division I era. Going 4-for-5 at the plate, Albanese hit a single, a double, a triple and a solo home run. The 6-foot-2 right-handed slugger also plated a run on a sacrifice fly as part of his four-RBI performance. He started his day with a single in the first, then delivered a sac fly in the second and drove a two-run triple to center in the fourth. Albanese completed the cycle with a solo home run in the fifth and a double to right field in the eighth.
