Diehl pitched Mount St. Mary's to a runaway win in the series finale with LIU Brooklyn. He tossed 7.0 scoreless innings before turning it over to the bullpen in an eventual 12-2 victory. He allowed only three hits, all singles, and two walks. The 6-foot-2 southpaw faced the minimum number of hitters in four of the seven frames he completed en-route to a 101-pitch effort. Diehl, who hit the strike zone with 64 percent of his pitches, fanned four batters in the win.
